So, yeah, I have had a thourghly blessed couple of weeks and especially last night. Wow, talk about amazing ppl when you least expect it. So I met a person last night at RCIA, named Richele, well heres the thing. I have alwasy seen her before and I was like wow she knows everybody. Well, now she knows me :-P She will just have to deal with that fact on her own. HAHAHA, so on the way out RCIA I stopped in Adoration for a few minutes. Then proceeded to ride home. On the way back I passed her walking back to campus with a guy from RCIA named Craton. I was just going to blow buy saying wuz up, but she's like stop! hahaha see the funny thing is I have kinda been wanting to talk to her for a while cause she seemed like she was pretty cool. Those words don't begin to describe it. So I stopped and the three of us got to talking about Christianity and various things pertaining to it specfically relationships at first. She was talking about standards she has for dating. 1.) No smoking or excessive drinking2.) Total Abstanance 3.) No dipping. All terrific standards. I am sure she has more, but we didn't get to those. Then Creaton had to go, so we continued talking. We started to head towards her dorm so she could go home. When we got there we sat outside for a bit till she admited she was freezing and she invited me in to continue the conversation. She is an extremely good listener and I really kinda needed to talk so we talked for oh say 3 hours until she had to go to bed. But over the course of the conversation she impressed me to no end. I mean she is "only" a freshman but can you say WOW!!! I think she is more mature in someway than anyother person I have ever met. And she was telling me a bit about her family can you say amazing. When i eventually get married and I have a family... I will work as hard as I can for it to be like what she described. I mean sure there are faults in every home but I mean wow! But the thing that really made my semester is how straight up shes says things that other ppl would skirt around. I mean Crazy dude! This Girl has her priorities in order. I mean everyone has their difficulties and their imperfections but holy mother of WOW! Something that really made the highlights list of my semester was that At the begining of the semester I staffed a retreat called Welcome Weekend! that I really did feel like staffing at first. But she went and while she was there she said she "watched me" and got to wondering things about me. And the strange thing is she hit the nail on the head in some ways. It was Scary cool. God really worked through her last night on me it was amazing. It really helped me straighen out some thoughts that have been in my mind for a while. But wow her idea of a good relationship she put into words what I have only been on the cusp of imagining for the last year. Don't get me wrong I dont' think she is intrested in me for dating purposes, though I wouldn't be apposed to the idea *wink wink*. But I think that I may have actually found someone who will be my friend on more than a surface level. It was weird I found myself opening up to her and telling stuff to her about myself that I haven't really ever expressed to many ppl... mainly because ppl don't ever really try to get to know me. One thing though... I talked about myself way tooo much and I wish I knew more about her and her past and her life and her christianity. She has what seems to be a relationship in the making with guy named Will. I hope if it works out I am there to see it because It would be amazing to learn from a successful relationship. She sees very deeply and I can't begin to express how cool it is to have met her. Especially because it was one of her goals since Welcome Weekend to met me! Now that is what really made my night! that is crazy cool... that someone can put it on their things to do list to MEET CRAIG. Hahhaha that must be a first. But I alwasy fear screwing up a cool thing I don't want to be over bering as I sometimes have a tencdency to do. Well good night world, and thank Lord for the amazing blessings you have bestowed upon me in my life, and thank you for giving me the ability to recogize them.
Peace,
Craig
P.S. A prize if you can tell me the number of times I used wow in this blog! um that prize would be... um .... I'll have to think about it.
